Daniel has a broad practice as a corporate lawyer, and advises primarily in the areas of general corporate law, M&A, venture capital and private equity.

A significant part of his practice is dedicated to emerging companies advice. Daniel supports investors and start-ups as well as scale-ups throughout the entire lifecycle from their foundation through financings and exit transactions.

A large portion of Daniel’s professional activities has an international angle. He advises his clients on cross-border M&A and financing transactions as well as German and foreign investors on their global investments in a wide range of jurisdictions.

Career

Daniel is a founding partner of LARK.

Before joining LARK, he was a founding partner and head of the London office of GLNS, and spent several years in the Munich and Frankfurt offices of a US law firm.

Daniel represents, among others, international and domestic corporations like Audi, CIE, Ion Beam Applications and ITP Aero on a wide variety of strategic transactions; prominent financial investors such as IVP, Lightspeed, Sequoia and Thrive Capital on their German portfolio investments; as well as fast-growing companies such as Ada Health, Eterno Health, and Staffbase on financings, ongoing corporate matters and exit transactions.
