Daniel Carrigan represents clients in diversified bankruptcy/insolvency related matters throughout the United States. His practice has included clients in the food, railroad, banking, hospitality and distressed debt acquisition sectors, oil and gas exploration/pipeline, coal, and real estate debtors, the RTC and FDIC as conservator and receiver, the SEC as receiver, creditors and shareholders committees, other secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 cases and in federal court receiverships. Mr. Carrigan's practice has seen an increased focus on federal district and appellate court litigation of federal preemption and federal court jurisdiction under FIRREA, the Rail Act, and the Bankruptcy Code "Safe Harbor."
