Practice Areas
Daniel Arroche advises numerous financial institutions, fintech and technology companies on their regulatory challenges.
He has supported dozens of players in the process of registering as Digital Asset Service Providers (DASPs) in France. He now dedicates a significant part of his practice to license applications as Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) under the MiCA Regulation. In this context, he handles matters related to anti-money laundering (AML), the drafting of required internal procedures, and payment services.
More broadly, he assists clients with their compliance with the MiCA Regulation, particularly some issuers of significant stablecoins. He also advises financial institutions on obtaining regulatory authorizations (EMI, PSP, crowdfunding, etc.).
Daniel has also developed advanced expertise in gambling and gaming law, advising leading video game publishers and developers leveraging blockchain technology — including on matters related to non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
He regularly speaks at major corporations and French universities (Sciences Po Paris, Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, ESSEC).
A former member of Paris Europlace, where he contributed to working groups on ICO and DASP regulation, he is now actively involved in the Association for the Development of Digital Assets (ADAN).
He was ranked among the most influential French lawyers in the blockchain field — Décideurs Magazine (2021).
