Daniel Arroche

Daniel Aroche advises financial institutions, fintechs, crypto-asset firms and technology companies on strategic regulatory matters.

He focuses on the intersection between traditional financial services, crypto-assets and digital finance. His practice covers crypto-asset regulation, payment services, electronic money, investment services, stablecoins, tokenization, AML/CFT, and financial regulatory structuring.

Daniel has supported dozens of clients in their registration as Digital Asset Service Providers (DASPs) in France. He now dedicates a significant part of his practice to authorisation applications as Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) under the MiCA Regulation.

He also advises crypto-native businesses seeking to access regulatory frameworks derived from traditional finance, including payment services, electronic money, investment services and financial intermediation. Conversely, he assists financial institutions and regulated fintechs entering the crypto-asset and digital finance space.

More broadly, Daniel helps clients analyse, integrate and anticipate their regulatory obligations. He advises on licensing strategy, regulatory perimeter analysis, business model structuring, and interactions with supervisory authorities.

Daniel also advises clients on innovative and emerging financial models, including stablecoin-based projects, tokenized financial assets, on-chain finance, AI-enabled financial services and other novel structures where regulation, technology and finance converge.

A former member of Paris Europlace, where he contributed to working groups on ICO and DASP regulation, Daniel is now actively involved in the Association for the Development of Digital Assets (ADAN).
