Craig Swart TEP is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey and a partner of the firm. He is also a qualified South African attorney (non-practising) and English Solicitor (also non-practising). Craig advises trustees, directors, fiduciaries, settlors and beneficiaries in relation to a wide range of non-contentious and contentious matters involving trusts, companies, foundations and partnerships. He also has extensive insolvency and restructuring experience.

1994-96 Articles Loon & Connellan, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. 1996 Admitted as attorney and notary High Court of SA 1996. Associate to 1998 then partner to 2002 with Loon & Connellan. Senior lawyer with Bedell Cristin, Jersey 2002-06. Qualified as English solicitor 2004. Called as Jersey advocate 2009. Senior Associate Mourant Ozannes 2007-2013. Partner Dickinson Gleeson 2014 - now.

Personal

Long distance sea and pool swimming (Polar Bears Club); Surfing; Ocean ski long distance paddling; Water polo; History. Craig swam around Jersey in a time of 10hrs44min in 2015 to raise money for the Grace Crocker Foundation. In 2017 he swam from Jersey to France in a time of 8hrs 21mins, and in 2019 he swam the English Channel in 15 hours 21 minutes, raising £5,000 for charitable causes.
