Career
Cinthia de Lamare is a partner in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice of Cescon Barrieu, advising creditors, bondholders and investors on complex cross-border restructurings, liability management transactions and distressed situations. Her experience includes high-profile cross-border matters such as Abengoa, Oi, Samarco, Atento, Intercement, Americanas, Raízen and liability management exercises, as well as landmark structured financings and aviation-related restructurings involving Gol Linhas Aéreas, Azul Linhas Aéreas and NFE. She has particular expertise in creditor coordination, 363-style asset sales and complex financial instruments, including derivatives and FX arrangements in distressed scenarios. Ranked by Chambers and Partners in both Restructuring and Dispute Resolution, she also serves as Vice Chair of the Liquidations Subcommittee of the International Bar Association Insolvency Section and Vice President of the Restructuring and Bankruptcy Committee of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil Seccional Rio de Janeiro.
