After twenty years Chris has a high-profile and wide-ranging defence and prosecution practice in General Crime that focuses on serious sexual offences and cases involving very serious violence. His most recent work has included conducting the trials of a Vice-President banker accused of rape and a man accused of attempted murder. During 2020 – in part a function of Covid – he worked exclusively for the Serious Fraud Office conducting a Legal Professional Privilege Review. Chris is a Grade 4 (highest level) prosecutor and also undertakes significant private defence work and is regularly instructed by the country’s leading Solicitors as well as prosecuting for the Crown’s Serious Case Work unit and RASSO - the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences division.
