Christina Hummer

Christina Hummer is a partner at Forvis Mazars Legal in Austria and a member of the firm’s Competition and EU Law practice. She advises national and international clients on Austrian and European competition law, with a particular focus on complex cross-border matters, merger control, compliance, and investigations. Her practice further encompasses strategic EU regulatory advice and representation before competition authorities and courts.

Christina brings extensive international experience to the team, having worked in Washington, D.C., Brussels, and Vienna throughout her career. She is qualified as an Attorney at Law in New York, a Solicitor in England & Wales, and as an Avocate in Belgium. Before joining the firm, she spent many years as a partner at a leading international business law firm, where she advised clients across a broad range of industries on high-profile and multi-jurisdictional competition law matters.

She is particularly experienced in coordinating complex international filings and investigations, as well as advising on strategic competition law aspects of cross-border transactions and commercial practices. Christina is known for her pragmatic and commercially focused approach, especially in matters involving multiple jurisdictions and international stakeholders.
