Christianne Bouma

With 25 years of experience in all aspects of employment law, Christianne has an in-depth understanding of the interests of medium and large national and international companies. She advises her clients on strategically complex employment law issues, balancing the interests of both employer and employee, always with an eye for the human dimension. Christianne is very client-oriented, and advises her clients in a practical manner, where finding a solution is key. She has extensive experience in corporate reorganisations and individual dismissal cases and is an expert in the field of employment contracts and conditions of employment, such as an Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct or bonus scheme.

Christianne started her career at Houthoff in Amsterdam. In 2008, she switched to Van Hall Arbeidsrecht, where she became a partner in 2010.

Christianne is a member of the American Bar Association (labour and employment law section) (ABA), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA), the Association of Dutch Employment Lawyers (VAAN), the Association for Employment law (VvA), and OnderNamen, a businessclub of entrepreneurs in Utrecht and surroundings.
