Chi Liu

Liu Chi is licensed to practice law in China and New York State of United States. He focuses his practices in international projects and dispute resolution, sports and entertainment areas. Mr. Liu once served as General Counsel in multinational companies in China with experiences in general corporate, employment, compliances and anti-corruptive practices.

In dispute resolution area, Liu Chi serves as an arbitrator in several international commercial arbitration commissions. He also acted as counsel when representing Chinese and foreign companies and individuals in sports and commercial arbitration, complex civil litigations, labor & employment, family and inheritance cases.

In sports law area, Liu Chi has repeatedly represented Chinese sports associations, Chinese and foreign sports companies, clubs and players in negotiations and litigation in the field of live events, anti-doping, commercial sponsorship, media rights, event operation, player transfer disputes, etc.

In entertainment law area, Liu Chi provides legal services for many Chinese and foreign film and television companies, including financing, co-production, purchase and distribution of TV series, negotiation and consultation of reality shows, employment of executives and dispute resolution of Chinese and foreign film and television projects, etc.
