Career

Attorney Xi Chao holds a Doctor of Laws degree from Nanjing University. With over 30 years of legal practice, he has been honored with numerous awards, including "National Advanced Individual in Public Legal Services," "Outstanding Communist Party Member in the National Lawyers Sector," "Outstanding Lawyer of Jiangsu Province," "Nanjing May Day Labor Medal," "Outstanding Party Affairs Worker of Nanjing," and "Top Ten Lawyers of Nanjing."

He currently serves as Deputy Supervisory Board Chair of the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Nanjing Lawyers Industry, Supervisory Board Chair of the Nanjing Lawyers Association, and is a representative to the 15th Nanjing Municipal Congress of the Communist Party of China. He also acts as a Volunteer Expert for the Supreme People's Court's Litigation Services, a Civil and Administrative Consulting Expert for the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and a Filing and Review Expert for the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress. Additionally, he has served consecutively for many years as a legal advisor to the Jiangsu Provincial Government, the Nanjing Municipal Government, and other provincial and municipal authorities.

In recognition of his distinguished achievements in legal research, he was shortlisted as a nominee for the "Third Jiangsu Province Outstanding Young Jurist" award. He currently serves as a part-time Master's supervisor at Southeast University, Nanjing Audit University, and Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He is also Vice President of the Legislative Studies Research Association, the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Studies Research Association, and the Education Law Research Association under the Jiangsu Law Society, and holds the position of Chief Legal Consulting Expert for the Qinhuai District Law Society.
