Career
Carys is the Head of Digital Risk at Digitalis, leading open-source and digital investigations for clients across the legal, government and financial sectors. She specialises in multi-lingual, cross-border investigations for international disputes.
Carys has led successful investigations into numerous online disinformation campaigns targeting individuals, organisations and institutions, enabling the identification of hostile anonymous actors carrying out sophisticated attacks. She has supported litigation and other measures to limit their impact, and provides capacity building services to government departments and policymakers on detecting and countering online disinformation campaigns.
Carys also regularly advises private individuals and companies on mitigating security, privacy and reputational threats originating online.
Carys holds a Certified Forensic Investigation Practitioner (CFIP) qualification, and a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association. She completed a BA in French and Russian at University College London, and an MA in International Relations at the University of Manchester.
