Caroline Webber-Brown

Caroline's expertise in clinical negligence encompasses a range of cases, including claims related to maternal birth injuries, issues arising from gynaecological, urological, and colorectal conditions/procedures, delayed diagnoses (including cancer), spinal cases, and instances of GP negligence. Caroline has focused on rectopexy mesh claims, and she works closely with the Rectopexy Mesh Victims and Support Group.

Central to Caroline's professional approach is her commitment to care and compassion. She diligently strives to deliver top-notch client service, ensuring that her clients are consistently well-informed throughout the legal action process, with a focus on minimizing stress. Collaborating closely with case managers, rehabilitation specialists, and independent financial advisers, Caroline ensures her clients receive comprehensive support and guidance not only during but also after a case concludes. When necessary, she secures advance compensation payments to facilitate crucial rehabilitation and treatment.

Caroline studied Law at the University of Exeter, and then undertook the Legal Practice Course also at the University of Exeter.

Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2009 continuing her career at an Exeter firm and earning a promotion to Associate in 2014. In 2021 Caroline joined Slee Blackwell Solicitors and was promoted to Partner in 2022.

During her leisure hours, Caroline finds pleasure in walking on Dartmoor and along the Southwest Coastal Path, engaging in kayaking, cycling, and recently discovered climbing—an activity she now enjoys alongside her son.
