Carolina has been involved in the structuring and execution of some of the most complex securitization transactions involving multiple sectors – real estate, agribusiness, financial assets – and a wide variety of clients, both domestic and international. Carolina's proactivity and sharpness is praised by clients and she is often referred to as an asset to have on your side to drive complex transactions to a closure. Her deep knowledge of capital market regulations and also of the specific asset class is invaluable to complex and highly structured transactions involving multiple areas of expertise. Given Pinheiro Guimarães' known expertise in complex and novel transactions, Carolina has been involved in several "cutting edge" structures for these types of transactions, often finding solutions that end up becoming the market standard on how to deal with issues that arise in these transactions. Over the years, Carolina has advised local issuers, sponsors and underwriters in private and public capital markets securitizations of debt securities and other debt obligations. Due to her corporate background, Carolina is also very familiar and has advised multiple clients in connection with private and public offerings of quasi-equity, convertible and redeemable securities, also as part of structured transactions that combine both debt and equity components.
