Career
Carlos Freaner is a Shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico office. He focuses his practice on real estate, playing a key role in the firm’s representation of national and international funds, developers, manufacturers, financial institutions, and strategic investors in a broad range of real estate and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions across Mexico, including, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, hotel agreements, condominium developments, and leasing.
Carlos advises developers of world-class golf and master planned communities throughout Mexico and has wide-ranging experience representing both lenders and borrowers in the financing of real estate projects. He is also often called upon to represent industrial companies in the acquisition, development and leasing of manufacturing facilities in northern and central Mexico.
Carlos is recognized in Mexico as a leading practitioner in real estate by Chambers Latin America and by The Best Lawyers in Mexico for Real Estate and Corporate M&A Law.
