Carlos Freaner is a real estate partner at Snell & Wilmer, focusing on U.S.-Mexico cross-border strategic transactions across the real estate, hospitality, and industrial sectors. He plays a key role in the firm's representation of national and international funds, developers, hotels and resorts, manufacturers, and financial institutions on a range of real estate and business transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, M&A, hotel agreements, condominiums, and leasing.

Carlos currently represents developers of world-class golf and master-planned communities in Mexico, particularly Los Cabos, the Riviera Nayarit, and Ensenada, and on ventures in Costa Rica and Belize. He has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in the financing of real estate acquisitions and projects, and is often called upon to represent industrial companies in the acquisition, development and leasing of manufacturing facilities in northern and central Mexico.

Carlos obtained his law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and an LL.M. degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
