Carlos Ciappa Petrescu

Carlos is one of the founding partners of ICC Abogados. He focuses his practice on water and environmental matters, providing advice to important companies throughout the country, advising them in environmental assessment processes and in matters of water use rights to make feasible, continue or expand their projects. He has broad experience in representing mining, agricultural, electric and industrial companies in water use matters. He also represents Surveillance Boards and Canal Associations in their relationship with the Water Division or third parties.

Carlos has experience in the public sector. He was Chief Legal Counsel of the Water Division between 2010 and 2013.

He has been a consultant for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank on water and environmental matters.
