Career

Carlo is a lawyer and Professor of Private Law (University of Milan), Professor of Family Law (University of Pavia) and Professor of Family Law at the Law School- Professional Specialist Program (University of Pavia and University Bocconi of Milan), as well as being director of the “Cross border families” post-graduate course at the University of Milan.

Carlo is a member of the:

-Milan Bar Association;

- International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL);

- Scientific committee of the periodical Familia;

- ICALI Association (International Child Abduction Lawyers in Italy);

He was previously a member of the Advisory Board of the PSEFS Project (Personalized Solution in European Family and Succession Law) co-founded by the Justice Programme of the European Union (2014–2020).

Publications

As a professor, Carlo authored more than 90 papers and publications.

He also authored the Italian chapter of the Family Law 2023 Global Practice Guide published by Chambers and Partners.
