Bruno Barrette is the Founder of Barrette Legal Inc. where he practices as a lawyer. With over 32 years of experience, having managed intellectual property departments, notably at Stikeman Elliott, he founded his own firm 14 years ago. His practice is focused on all aspects of intellectual property (I.P.), including licensing & transfer of technologies & food/pharmaceutical products and apparatus, enforcement and prosecution of trademarks, patents, copyright, I.P, unfair competition & commercial litigation (Federal, Provincial & TMOB). (TSX: PBP), a company specializing in cancer research.

Mr. Barrette is a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). He is also member of the APRAM, the PTMG, Marques. He is a member of and has been appointed to the Amicus Curiae Subcommittee of the International Trademark Association (INTA). Mr. Barrette has served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Council of Food Processing and Consumer Products of the Province of Quebec (CTAQ) since March 2000, and appointed to the Board of Directors in March 2004. He was appointed Ambassadeur of the Association des Praticiens Européens des Brevets (A.P.E.B.).
