After more than 30 years as a partner at Hogan Lovells, including tenures as the national and global head of real estate (and 21 continuous years of top rankings in Chambers), Bruce Parmley recently moved away from “Big Law” but not from his practice, not from his clients, and not from the industry’s radar. Bruce’s practice remains vibrant. He has the same notable clients and some formidable new ones. Bruce serves as principal and special real estate counsel to sophisticated real estate owner, investor, and operator clients, and is regularly involved in transactions in the United States, Central and South America, the Caribbean, the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East. He is a transactional lawyer and negotiates and drafts legal agreements for international luxury hotel, resort and other real estate projects (such as acquisitions, sales, ventures, financings, leases, development agreements and hotel management, branding, license and franchise agreements). Many of his transactions have involved representing the developers and owners of iconic hotels and resorts. Bruce genuinely enjoys what he does (which is why he is still doing it), and he is fun to work with.
