Brian specializes in all aspects of real estate, with special expertise in the establishment and listing of REITs on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange as well as in property developments where Brian assists clients through the entire transaction from inception to completion. Brian provides advisory services to companies, en-commandite partnerships, and other entities involved in retail, commercial, and industrial property developments, student accommodation, and educational groups. Brian is well regarded in the establishing of wildlife conservancies, eco-estates and residential developments. Brian also offers expertise in the formation of trusts, the preparation and execution of wills and resolving family estate disputes. Brian has extensive expertise in land claims, property related dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and litigation and general commercial matters, providing clients with strategic and effective legal solutions across these areas.

1983 – 2012

One of the founding directors of Attorneys Frank Tanner Inc. Additionally, Brian Frank was appointed to the board of directors of Anglovaal Mining Limited, serving as a Non-Executive Director for several years.

2013 – 2023

Facilitated the merger of Frank Tanner Inc. with Glyn Marais Inc. where Brian Frank served as a Senior Director, overseeing the Real Estate, General Commercial and Property Litigation Departments.
