Practice Areas

Bertrand de Saint Quentin is a partner in Aurès’ tax practice. He advises companies, in particular international and family-owned groups, as well as founders, management teams and investors, on the tax aspects of strategic transactions, with a particular focus on private equity, M&A and restructurings, often in a cross-border context. He is valued for combining strong technical judgement with a practical understanding of clients’ commercial objectives.

He also has a well-established private wealth tax practice, working closely with entrepreneurs and senior executives on the structuring of their business and family assets, particularly in the context of disposals, reinvestments, succession planning and reorganisations. This complementary work is often closely connected to the transactional matters on which he advises, enabling him to provide coordinated advice across corporate, personal and governance-related tax issues.

In addition, Bertrand is regularly involved in tax audits and tax controversy matters, including particularly sensitive and high-stakes cases. He assists clients at every stage, from audit and investigation through to pre-litigation and litigation proceedings.
