Bertie is a partner and co-head of the farms and estates team. He has extensive experience in advising clients looking to purchase estates, farms, country houses and grouse moors, as well as a strong track record in selling estates and advising on future planning for sellers.

In addition to his transactional practice, he advises landowners on a variety of management and succession issues. Such advice ranges from everyday solutions to decisions of great importance to the family. Bertie thrives on issues and challenges that face landed families, and is known for his ability to empathise with the client and their family.
