Belden Premaraj is the founding partner of Belden Advocates & Solicitors, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is a Barrister from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
He has had a specialist practice in arbitration and on-project advisory for the past 30 years with a focus in the construction and engineering, energy and infrastructure industries. He is regularly appointed as an arbitrator for complex and technical disputes both domestically and internationally. He has also acted as mediator, early neutral evaluator and expert determiner for a number of disputes.
Belden remains an active counsel, arbitrator and adjudicator in his practice area. He is on the panel of arbitrators of SIAC and AIAC and has sat on many other institutional arbitrations internationally.
