art is a partner in the Greenille Private Client team at Deloitte Legal. He focusses on wealth planning of high net worth individuals and entrepreneurial families, with an in-depth cross-border knowledge of gift and estate taxes as well as private international law. He has advised several high net worth individuals on their national and international wealth planning, including in- and outbound advisory. Bart has also specialized in advising families and their Family Offices throughout his career. Within Deloitte he leads the family office solution as Belgian leader.

As a professor, he teaches ‘Transfer and Estate Taxes’ at the University of Ghent.

Bart is a member of the editorial board of the Journal on Estate Planning (TEP). Bart is a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He is a certified member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
