Career

The founding Partner in our Construction and Infrastructure team, Barry has specialist expertise in a wide range of construction & engineering, infrastructure and real estate development matters. He has experience acting for owners, contractors, consultants and tenants in respect of major developments in New Zealand and internationally and across a variety of project structures and delivery models.

Barry advises both public and private sector clients and has particular expertise in strategic advice on the delivery of large development pipelines and contracts for the maintenance of large infrastructure portfolios. He is able to understand the key project drivers and positions of other parties and adapt his approach to documentation to suit the circumstances, resulting in a flexible, commercial and client-focused approach.

Before joining Greenwood Roche in 2012, Barry worked at Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney and DAC Beachcroft in London.
