Career

I am an attorney and mediator who handles complex, large scale business litigation and state procurement disputes. My clients have included the Mid-Atlantic Sports Television Network in litigation that established its telecast rights and over its license fees. I also successfully defended the Maryland Jockey Club against eminent domain proceedings by Baltimore City to condemn Pimlico Race Course and the Preakness Stakes (R). Resolution of this dispute has given rise to the multi-hundred-million dollar efforts to rebuild horse racing facilities in Maryland. I am very honored that businesses and individuals seek my advice regarding the most complex legal issues faced in the State.

I am also pleased to serve as an adjunct professor of Negotiations and Sports and the Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School.
