Avryl specialises in corporate insurance work, advising insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries on a range of regulatory and compliance issues. She has extensive transactional experience, as well as expertise advising clients (including start-up organisations) on legal and regulatory issues arising in the context of establishment and authorisation. She also assists clients with regulatory investigations.

Avryl brings a unique perspective to her regulatory practice. She previously worked as a legal specialist with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and managed the Australian Government's response to a variety of foreign bribery matters involving Australian companies and individuals. She has also represented Australia at the State Parties meeting of the UN Convention against Corruption and served as an Australian diplomat in India and Singapore.
