Career

Mr. Asad Abedi worked for four years with White & Case in New York, where he specialized in securities law and acquisitions. Since his return to Saudi Arabia in 1994 he has developed his expertise in securities law and acquisitions in addition to advising on general corporate and commercial matters.

Professional Memberships

Mr. Asad Abedi was called to the New York Bar in 1993. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Publications

Mr. Asad Abedi authored "Reforming Saudi Utilities" MENA Guide, 2004, and "Great Expectations of Saudi Arabian Capital Market", Global Banking and Financial Policy Review, 2005 and "Public Mergers and Acquisitions in Saudi Arabia" Practical Law, 2011-14.

Mr. Asad Abedi has also co-authored "Saudi Arabia Merger Control", Lexis Nexis, 2014, and "Saudi Arabia Corporate M&A, Law and Practice", 2017.
