Practice Areas

Åsa advises in the field of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law, marketing law and commercial contracts. She has extensive experience in strategic IP management, complex franchising. licensing and distribution arrangements.

Career

Prior to Borenius 2006, Åsa worked for other law firms and as Legal Counsel for Canon Europa.

Åsa was as a member of a working group by the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment which in March 2018 published a proposal for a full revision of the Finnish Trademarks Act.

Professional Memberships

International Bar Association, Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights (Vice President), INTA, FACG, AIPPI, served as a Vice President of the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights 2016-2019 and ten years on the board.
