Archana Rajaram is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rajaram Legal. She advises several venture capital investors in their investments and exits such as Matrix Partners, Unilazer Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Chiratae Trust (formerly IDG Ventures) etc. She also advises a number of start-ups and late-stage companies in their fundraise such as Lenskart’s Series F investment from Kedaara Capital followed by Lenskart’s Series G investment from SoftBank, Licious’s Series E investment led by Vertex Growth Fund, Five Star Business Finance’s Series D investment from TPG Capital and existing investors.
Prior to founding Rajaram Legal, she was General Counsel at Ronnie Screwvala’s Unilazer Ventures, where she advised Unilazer’s board of directors and managed Unilazer’s in-house team of legal advisors. Previously, she was a Senior Associate at AZB & Partners, where she worked on several mergers and acquisitions and divestments, including the sale of UTV Motion Pictures to The Walt Disney Company for an enterprise value of $1.4 billion. She started her career at Nishith Desai Associates.
Archana Rajaram is also Guest Faculty at upGrad, an online education company founded by Ronnie Screwvala. The International Bar Association awarded her a scholarship for her paper on ‘Minority Shareholder Protections’.
