His recent experience includes: advising the trustees of a hybrid occupational pension scheme in the infrastructure sector on preparatory steps in de-risking solutions and the transfer of liabilities under the defined contribution section to a Master Trust; advising a purchaser in the energy sector on section 75, equalisation, pension increase and cross-border issues arising out of the acquisition of a group with a defined benefit pension scheme; and advising a listed company in the technology sector on a proposed reverse takeover involving pension arrangements in over 30 jurisdictions.
