Alan Davis is Global Head of the Competition, EU & Trade Group. He is qualified as a solicitor in Ireland, Northern Ireland and England & Wales. He has a wide-ranging competition law practice advising on EU, UK and multi-jurisdictional merger filings, investigations into anti-competitive agreements and practices including civil and criminal cartels, director disqualification proceedings, abuse of dominance, market studies and market investigations. He is regularly involved in competition litigation including stand-alone and follow-on damages actions.
He also advises on subsidy control and international trade law. Alan has strong experience of advising on competition law issues in the tech, financial services, construction and infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
