Mr. Morrison is a sought after speaker who regularly teaches other lawyers at conferences organized by the Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C. He is recognized for his knowledge and expertise in resolving real estate disputes and acts for some of the most prominent developers in BC.
Mr. Morrison has appeared in as lead counsel in the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. He often represents clients in commercial arbitrations.
Mr. Morrison is an experienced arbitrator and mediator and is regularly selected by other lawyers to mediate or decide disputes involving their clients.

Mr. Morrison has been counsel on numerous precedent setting and widely cited decisions.
In 2010, his successful representation of a buyer of a development property before the B.C. Court of Appeal in Chameleon Talent Inc. v. Sandcastle Holdings Ltd. caused the Law Society of B.C. to issue a bulletin to solicitors to alert them to the importance of the decision.
In 2020, Mr. Morrison argued before the Supreme Court of Canada in Owners Strata Plan LMS 3905 v. Crystal Square Parking Corp., a leading decision on the formation of contracts.
