Andrew Morris is a partner in Weil’s Tax Department. Andrew has a broad-based tax practice, including advising fund sponsors and asset managers in connection with the formation and investing activities of domestic and international private equity funds. He regularly advises on a wide array of alternative asset classes, including private equity funds, real estate funds, credit funds, venture capital funds, secondaries funds, energy and infrastructure funds and fund of funds, both domestically and internationally. He also advises investment banks, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds in connection with their investment activities. Andrew also regularly advises private equity firms and multinational corporate clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, secondary transactions, capital raisings, spin-offs, restructurings and the development of cross-border financing instruments.
