Andrew Jackson is an established and respected criminal practitioner. He both defends and prosecutes. He defends in cases of homicide and sexual offences, and has particular expertise in cases involving child witnesses, with and without intermediaries. He defends in all cases involving dishonesty, including corporate insolvency. He has experience in cases involving the possession, production and supply of all forms of controlled drugs. He defends in all cases of violence and in cases of malfeasance in public office. He has the requisite experience and knowledge of all forms of restraint and confiscation. He also defends in cases alleging breaches of the health and safety and trading standards legislation. Andrew is a Grade 4 prosecution advocate. His overall experience is such that, allied with persuasive and focused advocacy, he represents people powerfully and effectively. Andrew's practice includes work overseas. He has defended trials on St Helena since 2016.
