Andrew Gould is an appellate attorney with extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in civil appeals and trials. An award-winning former federal appellate prosecutor, Andrew formerly founded the appellate practice at Arnold & Itkin LLP, a nationally renowned plaintiffs’ law firm, which he led for several years. Before his tenure at the U.S. Attorney's Office, he practiced in the appellate department of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he represented Fortune 500 companies in appeals and complex litigation.
Andrew has appeared in and argued before state and federal appellate courts nationwide. He has served as lead counsel in over 250 appeals and has conducted over 40 oral arguments in appellate courts, including over 25 before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also regularly appears at the trial-court level to assist with complex motions practice, jury charges, and error preservation. Through his written and oral advocacy, Andrew strives to distill sophisticated legal issues into clear, concise, and ultimately persuasive arguments.
