Andrew Gould

Practice Areas

Andrew counsels employers on all facets of labor and employment law, and represents them in employment-related litigation and arbitrations in Texas and throughout the United States. His work frequently includes contract drafting and negotiations, workplace investigations, preventative training, and serving as employment counsel in connection with mergers and acquisitions. His litigation experience ranges from defense of FLSA wage-hour matters, including collective actions, to restrictive covenant litigation (noncompete, trade secrets, etc.), to the defense of claims for discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Gould also represents clients in structuring their workforce, on independent contractor issues, and in connection with disputes involving worker classification challenges.

Gould has represented clients in a variety of jurisdictions, including the federal appellate courts in Texas and New York.

Board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Andrew leads the labor and employment practice at Wick Phillips.
