Career

Anastasia Platipodi is a senior associate of the team. She has expertise in the last thirteen (13) years in labor law by acting in unilateral amendments and reductions of working hours, business closures, mass dismissals, transfers of undertaking pursuant to mergers, acquisitions, and privatisations and in litigation before the courts and industrial tribunals arising from social security and employment related disputes. Her client base is made up of multinational companies across a range of industries with a focus on banking and manufacturing.

Among other things, she was involved in defending a systemic Bank against claims of more than 7M by 729 employees; the main issue in question was whether ARD applies in cases of Bank restructurings following a decision of the Governor of the Bank of Greece; such matter had not been dealt with before by the Courts. The relevant lawsuits have been rejected at second degree. She also successfully defended a variety of clients before a variety of Courts and has ensured the daily consulting of at least 10 major clients.
