During her career she was the Head of the Patent of Invention Government Office; Deputy Director of the Industrial Property Government Office, where her biggest challenge was to develop a non existent Invention Patent Department and creating a team of different areas professionals to be in charge of the technical expert examinations of applications. She participate in the elaboration of the Patent of Invention Manual of examination to be applied in Central America and Dominican Republic. Has received international intellectual property training courses and seminaries at Switzerland, Hungary, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama. Author of the Manual for the Handling of Applications for Patents, Designs and Trademarks of Costa Rica. Edited by Arnold and Siedsma. Kluwer Law International. Head of Intellectual Property Department of Consortium Legal Costa Rica for nine years. Partner at MMonivation.
