Amy was appointed as an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University College of Law in 2016 and continues to teach Family Law. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been recognized as a speaker and author on family law topics, including inclusion in Chambers & Partners High Net Worth rankings in 2023. Amy and her colleagues have represented clients on international family law issues before the Supreme Court of the United States, participated in briefing with the Cox International Law Center, and been consulted on international family law issues, including The Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
