Practice Areas
Amy advises on a broad range of sensitive corporate investigations, litigation, compliance and crisis management matters that require specialized experience, judgment, discretion, perspective, regular reporting to and coordination among key stakeholders. She leads internal risk and compliance matters, domestic and cross-border investigations, and criminal and civil enforcement matters before federal and state regulators.
Amy is experienced investigating and remediating targeted transgressions and systemic organizational failures across industries and issues (e.g., Code of Conduct, corporate policy violations, U.S. and foreign anti-bribery legislation, U.S. trade sanctions, fraud, whistleblower/anti-retaliation laws, conflicts of interest). She counsels on internal compliance programs and corporate culture and due diligence, integration challenges in corporate transactions.
Amy is Special Counsel to the D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure. She investigates allegations of misconduct in office by judges in District of Columbia courts.
Career
Served as Assistant US Attorney in Washington, D.C., including in an elite trial unit that prosecuted some of D.C.'s most difficult, high-profile crimes.
