Amanda Small

Amanda is a pensions partner with over 16 years’ experience advising trustees, corporate sponsors and providers on a whole range of pension arrangements.

A pensions partner within Eversheds Sutherland’s Employment, Labor and Pensions Group, Amanda is a DC specialist who advises a number of DC master trusts and large own trust DC arrangements on the full range of issues including default structures, investment, decumulation, bulk transfers and member interaction. She also has extensive experience advising on governance issues and regulatory compliance.

Amanda also has significant experience advising on insurance de-risking matters and has recently advised a number of trustees on bulk annuity transactions where total premiums have exceeded £1bn. Her recent experience involves advising a local government authority on securing some of the liabilities of the LGPS with an insurer.
