Experience
Amanda has experience representing clients as counsel in both commercial and investment treaty arbitration in a range of sectors including energy and resources, construction, telecommunications and technology, insurance and reinsurance, and manufacturing. She has acted both for and against Governments and state-owned enterprises and is instructed in large complex disputes.
Signifying Amanda’s expertise and reputation in the field, she is regularly appointed as arbitrator and is on the arbitrator panels of leading arbitral institutions (SIAC, HKIAC, ICDR, DIAC, AIAC, JCAA). Amanda has had more than 29 appointments as arbitrator including appointments as presiding arbitrator, sole arbitrator and emergency arbitrator in arbitrations seated in Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Dubai and Kuala Lumper.

Amanda is recognised as an insightful and provocative speaker on international arbitration, having spoken at international conferences in Australia, England, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Switzerland, UAE and Vietnam. She has written widely on international and commercial arbitration and trained hundreds of other lawyers and professionals on arbitration for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, SIAC Academy, DELOS Academy and ICC.
