Aman Assefa, a recognized lawyer for his innovative ways and track record of more than 20 years’ in providing quality legal service, is the managing partner at Aman Assefa & Associates Law Office. With depth of experience in academia, judiciary and corporate private practice, Aman has wide-ranging experience with an exceptional understanding of Ethiopian law, and its practicalities. He represents clients ranging from foreign and domestic entities ranging from start-ups to prominent multi-nationals.

Aman holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre (MIPLC) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from Addis Ababa University, Faculty of Law.

Participated in the revision of certain books of the Commercial Code of Ethiopia, participated in the drafting of Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law Proclamation, and researched and published on intellectual property law and the TRIPS Agreement.
