My practice is focused on corporate immigration - i.e. assisting with the immigration needs of companies, including their sponsorship of foreign nationals and their own compliance requirements. My long history of super specializing in 'management side' representation, meaning I focus on the needs of the employer/business, makes my skill set somewhat unique.
Because I focus on the needs of companies/employers, I have acquired a great depth of knowledge and experiences which enable me to better serve my corporate clients and help them achieve their business goals.
I have extensive experience in this arena, from IRCA, I-9s, Social Security mismatch issues, business visas (nonimmigrant and permanent residence applications), immigration compliance and due diligence activities. I have an extremely high success rate with visa preparations, submissions and approvals (around 99% approval rating). Beyond these areas, I also provide guidance with regard to immigration issues related to management-side negotiations with unions, tax consequences, due diligence (on both sides) in M&A, and other employment related matters as well as providing compliance training and counseling. I have represented clients of all sizes in a wide variety of industries before the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and The Department of Labor in various inspection, audit, and visa matters.
I am committed to providing strategic immigration planning, being highly responsive to the unique needs of my business clientele, while mindful of the enormous importance of timely and cost-effective legal representation.
Over the years, I have become well known for my attention to detail and creative solutions to employers' hiring needs.
