Alison Walker

Alison Walker is a Partner and Head of the Trusts, Wills and Estates team at Raworths alongside Sam Jenner. She advises on all aspects of wills, trusts and wider succession issues for individuals and families. Alison also deals with the administration of complex estates, particularly those involving business property and overseas property.

Prior to joining Raworths, Alison qualified into the corporate tax department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor and working as a solicitor in corporate tax advising on corporate, fund and property taxation, and VAT. This previous experience gives her an understanding of different business and acquisition structures, corporate documents, and is invaluable in advising our owner-managed business clients on capital and business tax planning. Alison also advises on stamp duty, stamp duty land tax, partnerships and offshore structures.

Alison is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and currently serves on the Yorkshire STEP com
