Practice Areas
Alicia Herrador practices in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration.
She has advised clients, both businessmen and individuals, national and international, and directed their defense before Courts of Justice and Arbitration, especially in litigation related to resolution and/or interpretation of civil and commercial contracts, banking advice, corporate disputes, company valuation, directors’ liability, unfair competition, execution of works, etc.
She has recognized experience in providing legal advice to companies in crisis and has participated in several of the main insolvency proceedings in Catalonia, as well as in the negotiation of restructuring plans and multiple processes of purchase of production units of companies in insolvency.
She has also been an insolvency receiver since 2006.

Law degree from the University of Barcelona.
Master’s Degree in Business Law from Pompeu Fabra University
Professional Memberships
She has lectured on securities at Centro de Estudios Financieros as well as on insolvency law in the Insolvency Practicum of the Law Degree of the Universitat de Barcelona and on procedural law in the Master’s Degree in Procedural Law organized by the Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de Barcelona.
Currently, lecturer of the Master’s Degree in Bankruptcy Law at the ICAB.
Officer of the Insolvency Law Section of the IBA.
Member of the International Insolvency Institute.
Member of the International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) since January 2019.
Publications
Conference “Damage caused by the company administrator: expert approach”, within the framework of the 28th Professional Auditor’s Forum, organized by the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia.
She is a frequent contributor to specialized publications on insolvency matters.
