Career

Lawyer graduated from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (2005). Master in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2012). With specialization courses in Intellectual Property (Ompi), European Business Law (University of Alicante), Consumer Protection (Indecopi), Administrative Law and Competition Law (Osinerg), Arbitration (Lima Chamber of Commerce), Marketing (centre), among others.

Expert in strategies related to bureaucratic barriers and administrative simplification, intellectual property, regulatory law, competition and consumer protection.

As an Indecopi official, he implemented the Sanctioning Area of ​​the Commission for the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers and represented the Peruvian State in national and international conferences. He participated in the elaboration of legislative improvements on bureaucratic barriers. He has also been a member of the Technical Secretariats of the Distinctive Signs and Consumer Protection Commissions.

In the private sector, he belonged to law firms specialized in Intellectual Property, Competition and Commerce. He was the legal advisor in charge of anti-piracy control during the 2019 Pan American Games. He has also carried out consultancies for the design of administrative rules and procedures, regulatory improvement, single windows, intellectual property and bureaucratic barriers; for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the World Bank (WB), the German Development Cooperation Fund (GIZ), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC), Indecopi, among others.
