Career
With over 30 years of experience, Alexandre Santos de Aragão specialises in Administrative, Regulatory and Infrastructure Law, with an integrated perspective that also draws from more general areas of law, such as General Legal Theory, Constitutional Law, and the General Theory of Obligations and Contracts. He maintains a strong focus on the interplay between Administrative Law—particularly its regulatory strand—and economics, as well as the technical specificities of each regulated sector.
Alexandre holds a Ph.D. in Public Law (2005) from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and an LLM (2001), as well as an LLB (1991), from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
He was previously a partner at Rennó, Aragão e Lopes da Costa Advogados and at Chediak, Lopes da Costa, Cristófaro, Menezes Cortes, Rennó e Aragão Advogados.
