Alexander is a US-qualified principal in Baker McKenzie’s Capital Markets practice in Singapore. With over 24 years of experience, he is recognized in particular for his equity capital markets expertise across Southeast Asia, having advised on many of the largest and most complex IPOs across the region.

Alexander’s practice focuses primarily on international securities offerings across Southeast Asia. He regularly advises issuers, selling shareholders and investment banks on the full spectrum of ECM including IPOs, rights issues and other primary and secondary follow-on offerings, and has successfully executed a large number of listings and other transactions across Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines. He also regularly advises on corporate and sovereign debt offerings and liability management transactions, and other aspects of US federal securities laws impacting foreign private issues.
