Alex is Global Practice Leader for the Mourant Investment Funds team and Managing Partner of the London office.
His practice focuss on all aspects of fund formation and he frequently advises many of the world's leading private fund sponsors on the structuring and establishment of investment funds, secondary transactions and related deals. He also has extensive experience on regulatory, corporate and fund finance matters.
In April 2023, Alex relocated to London after seven years in the firm's Cayman office, taking on the role as London Managing Partner in addition to his existing role of Global Co-Head of Investment Funds. Alex is an established figure in the Cayman funds space and was one of the founding partners of the firm's Hong Kong practice, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2022.
Prior to moving offshore and subsequently joining Mourant, Alex worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.
